The revitalisation works were implemented according to the annual municipal investment programme No. 10 The Old Town Revitalisation. The main entrance door of the St. Casimir Church was restored, the fence in Maironio St. 10 was built, and the decorative lighting was installed in Pasažo St. The reconstruction of the fragment of the medieval defensive wall in Šv. Dvasios St. and the reconstruction of the street started in 2008.
Two wooden buildings (Traidenio St. 35 and Pušų St. 16) were renewed. The works were financed in the co-operation of private and municipal resources (50 % each). The restored and upgraded wooden buildings are listed in the Register of Immovable Cultural Properties. Home owners also financed 50 % of the renewal of roofs in Didžioji St. 11 and Savičiaus St. 10.
