With 17 enthusiastic participants from 13 OWHC member cities (including Aida Stelbiene from Vilnius), OWHC regional workshop on youth engagement and the OWHC youth programs brought valuable output. A vivid working atmosphere enabled rich discussions on how we can better focus in our communication for young people aged 12-22. Especially the visit of a group of pupils from two UNESCO schools in and near Berlin helped us to better understand the needs and interests of the younger generation. The results of our work are summarized in this handout as a Recommendation on Youth Activation.
