There were 15 events organized in various workshops of craftsmen during European Artistic Crafts Days in Vilnius (EACD): 4 exhibitions and 11 educational events: lectures, crafts demonstrations and workshops. Jewelry, enamel art, ceramics, weaving, textile, leather craft, restoring of string instruments were presented by craftsmen who participate in the municipal program of Traditional Crafts.
EACD are organized in Vilnius by the Old Town Renewal Agency and Vilnius Artistic Crafts Association since 2015. The European Artistic Crafts Days (EACD), launched in France in 2012, have become the leading European event devoted to the artistic crafts. Coordinated by the Institut National des Métiers d’Art (INMA), the cultural, economic, and tourist event showcases the exceptional expertise in the artistic crafts, in all its wealth and diversity. It is now the biggest international event devoted to this sector of activity.
