EAHTR (European Association of Historic Towns and Regions) Study Tour & Seminar “European Historic Cities and their Policies for Cultural Heritage” took place in Vilnius, on 8–10th of July, 2009.
The event was a part of Vilnius’s celebrations as 2009 European Capital of Culture and Lithuania’s celebration of its name’s millennium. This was an important opportunity for Mayors, senior politicians and professionals working in the field of cultural heritage to share their experience and see at first hand how one of Europe’s cultural capitals manages a world heritage historic city.
