Project "Historic Vilnius Organs“

their Eastman School of Music in 2008. Rochester University also gave a substantial
financial support for the authentic organ by Casparini located in St. Spirit
Church in Vilnius, and they plan to continue to support the restoration of
the authentic organ.
The aim of the project "Historic Vilnius Organs“ was to present the information about remained historic Vilnius organs for youth and various public and religious communities. Project consisted of 4 parts: specialised excursions, lectures, issuing a leaflet about historic organs and free organ concerts for Vilnius citizens in the Church of St. Spirit.
The leaflet "The Organ of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Vilnius“ (in Lithuanian, English and Polish languages) was prepared and published within the framework of the project. The leaflet represents historic organ made by famous master A.G. Casparini. It is disseminated free of charge in the Church of the Holy Spirit (Dominikonø St. 8, Vilnius) and in Tourism Information Centre in Vilnius Town Hall.
