5TH LOCAL FORUM OF HERITPROT PROJECT

On the 19 09 2013 the 5th local forum within the project “Fire Risk Prevention and Improvement of the Fire Extinction Systems (HERITPROT)" was held in Vilnius Old Town Renewal Agency. The forum was devoted to validate good practices identified at Liverpool. Local stakeholders were   from the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture, State Cultural Heritage Department, municipal departments of Urban Development and Safe City. HERITPROT Vilnius partners from Vilnius Old Town Renewal Agency and Vilnius County and Rescue board presented the possibility to prepare a list of priority buildings for fire safety as it is done in Liverpool. It was decided during the meeting that the Renewal Agency will prepare an official proposal to the Ministry of Culture and the Cultural Heritage Department with the list of priority cultural heritage objects and the possible content of self-protection plan for heritage buildings.
